Production was planned day by day, and the team needed one place to create the plan, follow it in real time and keep it aligned with LEAN practices.

A responsive web app (desktop, tablet and phone) to create and manage the daily production plan, with item tracking, reports, real-time information and per-user controls, plus fail-safe checks to prevent production defects and delays. Built with ASP.NET and SQL Server on Azure, with a JavaScript and jQuery front end.

It cut production costs by about $300,000 a year and won 2nd place among 300+ projects at a GE national event.
